Aran's first full length album "Veden Varjoista" (Meaning: "From The Shadows of The Water") got its inspiration from nature surrounding the band's home town Oulu. Especially the sea was big influence since the town is situated by the Gulf of Bothnia.
Aran is an atmospheric black metal band from Oulu, Finland. Formed in 2018 by Juhani K., the music is a melancholic combination of ambient synthesizer textures with atmospheric black metal riffs.
