Originally released in 1986, Hate, Fear and Power is the explosive follow-up to Hirax’s debut — a short but devastating EP that captures the band at their most intense and uncompromising. Pushing their crossover thrash sound even further, Hirax sharpened their attack with tighter songwriting, blistering speed, and an even more aggressive edge, driven by Katon W. De Pena’s commanding and unmistakable vocal delivery.
Despite its concise runtime, Hate, Fear and Power hits with relentless force, delivering a barrage of high-velocity riffs and politically charged energy that reflects the chaos and tension of the era. It stands as a crucial piece of the band’s legacy — raw, urgent, and undeniably influential in shaping the sound of hardcore-infused thrash metal.
Now available once again on vinyl, this cult classic returns in both standard black and limited colored version— an essential addition for collectors and a perfect way to experience one of Hirax’s most ferocious releases in its purest form.
