Originally unleashed in 1985, *Raging Violence* is the ferocious debut from California thrash pioneers Hirax — a raw and unrelenting blast of crossover energy that helped define the genre’s early days. Fusing the speed of hardcore punk with the aggression of classic metal, the album delivers a volatile mix of razor-sharp riffs, breakneck tempos, and Katon W. De Pena’s unmistakable vocal attack, shifting between savage snarls and soaring screams.

Across its lean, high-impact runtime, *Raging Violence* channels themes of war, chaos, and the supernatural into a relentless sonic assault, capturing the spirit of the mid-’80s underground with uncompromising intensity. This is thrash at its most primal — fast, rough, and driven by pure DIY ethos that earned Hirax a cult following worldwide.

Now reborn on vinyl, this essential classic returns in both traditional black and exclusive turquoise with yellow/red splatter vinyl — a must-have for collectors and a new generation ready to experience one of crossover thrash’s defining statements the way it was meant to be heard: loud, fast, and unapologetic.
