Longtime fans, HELLS HEADBANGERS are proud to present Cut Carve Rip Serve by DERANGED on vinyl for the very first time. Originally released in 2011, this eighth full-length captures the Swedish masters of gore-soaked, technically charged death metal at their most refined and ruthless.
From the opening blast, Cut Carve Rip Serve delivers everything one expects from DERANGED: relentless speed, surgical precision, and the unfiltered ferocity that has defined their legacy since the early 90s. The album’s concept is perfectly mirrored in Jon Zig’s unforgettable cover art, a macabre twist on Norman Rockwell’s “Freedom from Want,” which instantly sets the tone for the carnage within.
Musically, the record stands as a masterclass in controlled chaos. Tracks like Blood on Pale Hands and The Human Guillotine strike a perfect balance between groove and intensity, showcasing the band’s ability to inject hooks and subtle melody into their trademark brutality. Guitarist Thomas Ahlgren lays down thick, flesh-ripping riffs while Rikard Wermén’s drumming maintains its reputation for machine-like precision and unpredictable tempo shifts.
